Fun, Friends & Fiber! | Saturday, September 21st, 2019

Join us in Whatcom County for the 3nd annual Purls & Pop-Ups on Saturday, September 21st, 2019! Every September, the yarn shops in Whatcom County get together for this micro tour full of fun, friends and fiber to bring you pop-up shops featuring goods from regional designers and businesses and to celebrate the start of fall with all new yarns just waiting for you. Bring home the latest fall colorways, win prizes, and collect free stitch markers from each participating LYS.

Don’t miss out on this yarn crawl! To participate, just stop by one of the participating shops on September 21st to pick up a yarn crawl passport, and make sure to visit each shop to get a stamp.  Completed passports can be turned in for a chance at the grand prize – a gift basket stuffed with goodies from our yarn vendors! We will also be running raffles at each shop for basekets filled with goods from some of your favorite independent local merchants. Every year, these raffle proceeds benefit one of our community organizations – this year we will be donating the proceeds to Lydia Place, an organization that works in Whatcom to provide housing assistance and other support for those in need.

Get together with all your fiber friends, and join in Purls & Pop-Ups, the Whatcom County Yarn Crawl! This day of fun, friends and fiber will be more fun than ever, with all new pop-up shops, prizes and our very popular stitch marker giveaway!  Along with a stamp in their passport, each yarn crawl participant will receive a unique stitch marker from every yarn shop visited.  So don’t miss out — we will see you all soon!
